Filler applications take 15-45 minutes depending on the area. Lip filler takes 15-20 minutes, jawline or multiple areas can take 45 minutes. Effect is seen immediately and lasts 6-18 months.
Anesthetic cream is applied before filler, and most filler products contain lidocaine (local anesthesia). There is a slight pressure sensation but no significant pain is felt.
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers last 6-18 months. Duration varies by area, product used, and personal metabolism. Lip filler lasts 6-9 months, cheek 12-18 months.
Mild bruising or swelling may occur, resolves within 3-7 days. Cannula technique reduces bruising risk. Ice application is recommended for the first 24 hours.
Yes, hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase enzyme. This option is available when dissatisfied or if symmetry issues occur.
